About Ian
Meet Ian Kennedy.
A resident of Erie Beach, Ontario, Ian Kennedy is an educator and journalist with a passion for storytelling. The founder of the Chatham-Kent Sports Network, Ian is a contributor for the The Hockey News and Yahoo Sports. His stories have also appeared in Outdoor Canada, the Globe and Mail, Chatham Voice, and Canadian Horse Journal. Ian’s debut novel, “On Account of Darkness: Shining Light on Race and Sport” will be published in May by British Columbia’s Tidewater Press.
Ian lives on Lake Erie with his wife Stephanie, daughter Ezra, their dog and cats. Together they love to travel, and are fifth generation beekeepers.
