Storytelling has always been a passion of Ian’s, and in magazine form, he writes on social issues, particularly as they relate to sport and recreation. In particular, Ian aims to shine light on marginalized voices, and the issues that impact oppressed groups.

Hunting and fishing were present in my life growing up through my father. For Outdoor Canada I’ve written on Indigenous practices and famous Canadian anglers like Bob Izumi.
